MithosFall: OK, before I start, I'll preface this by saying I don't think this level pack is intended for me, given that the very beginning is the level saying "fuck you", as many masocore platformers tend to be (I Wanna Be The Boshy, for example). However, because you state that this is intended for a variety of players in the original post, I feel that my opinions are valid. -----The Positives----- 1: The puzzles are very well thought out. You have one specific path that you have to go through in order to progress, and you can't go down that path if you don't have the required item(s). 2: You make good use of space. On multiple occasions, you're required to back-track through areas you have previously been through in order to progress. It made the map feel bigger than it actually was without being more intimidating. -----The Negatives----- 1: The beginning. It just feels so out of place for a mostly puzzle-centric level. Now, usually, I advocate putting the harder sections of a level in front, as to limit frustration. So that you don't have to go through an arduous level only to be smashed as a block of ice. However, the very start of the level sort of sets an overall tone of frustration for the whole level. I feel it detracts from the experience as a whole. Neat idea as it may be, I wouldn't lose sleep if I never saw that used again. 2: Now, this one is pretty minor, but it did add undue frustration, I would say. The damn cobwebs everywhere. That, combined with the alien queen made for a stressful middle section. I know there's a machete and maybe the frustration is by design, but I just had a bit of a problem with it. 3: When I made it to the UFO section, it didn't fire the first time around. And yes, I went directly under it, within range. I actually walked across the TNT and went to the push block at the bottom. When I returned to the top, the UFO shot and the TNT blew me up. It was at the point that I had to call it quits. -----Final Thoughts----- I feel like the level pack had a good puzzle and neat ideas, but the frustration of everything I listed in "The Negatives" section prevented me from having the will to attempt to finish it.
